about

It's very easy to feel like we walk through life alone. It's a confusing thing, especially when your band seems lost in a cycle of never getting any songs completely ready to put out. This song was one of the last songs written before we had a huge moment of refocusing and redefining who we were as a band and as songwriters. That moment came with the completion of "Carry You," which is featured on The EP. "Carry You" was a huge game changer for us; it really pushed us to try to take every song to the next level and not be content with filler songs (like this one) that weren't necessarily bad, but weren't necessarily good either.

lyrics

I can't wait, I don't wanna wait,
for an answer I can't control or create.
Where am I? Where am I?
All I've got is plenty of time,
but could that explain why
I feel left behind?
Where am I? Where am I?

On this road, so narrow,
I take your hand and find home.

I'm giving all I am now,
finding out that somehow,
I'm not alone. You never left my side.
And I say...
I'm giving all I am now,
finding out that somehow,
I'm not alone. You never left my side.

All my wrongs were never enough,
to push you away or separate us.
Where am I? Where am I?

On this road, so narrow,
you take my hand and I know.

I'm giving all I am now,
finding out that somehow,
I'm not alone. You never left my side.
And I say...
I'm giving all I am now,
finding out that somehow,
I'm not alone. You never left my side.

Yeah.

I'm giving all I am now,
finding out that somehow,
I'm not alone. You never left my side.
And I say...
I'm giving all I am now,
finding out that somehow,
I'm not alone.
You never left my side.
